To Play At Christchurch
The Canterbury and Auckland Rugby League teams will definitely play at Christchurch on August 15. Last evening's meeting of the Canterbury Rugby League received a letter from Auckland accepting Canterbury’s arrangements for the fixture.
Refer***—The referee* for three Springbok match** th:* month are: Taranaki, July 17, Mr A. Farquhar (Auckland); Southland, July 21. Mr A. B. Taylor (Canterbury); Canterbury, July 24, Mr J. Logan (Wellington). The BanfuKy Shield match between Taranaki and Bush on July 28 wH be controlled by Mr D. Hawkes (Marlborough).—(P.A.) Team Leaders.—The Canterbury half-back, 'L. J. Davie, wilt captain the Junior AU Blacks against the South African Bugby team at Christchurch on July 14, and the Wellington prop, J. M. Finn, wIM be vicecaptain.—(P.A.)
