AUSTRALIAN ARMY
Realistic Exercises (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, July 4. The Australian Army has acquired 1000 square miles of rugged north Queensland jungle to carry out realistic battle exercises.
The land, about 450 miles north of Brisbane, was selected because of its similarity to the jungle conditions of South-east Asian countries.
