EXPERIMENTAL HERD PROJECT.—An experimental herd is to be established at Lincoln College, with the support of the Town Milk Producers’ Federation, to extend investigations into mastitis. Involved in the project are (from left) Mr R. Warden, a field officer, Dr. C. S. M. Hopkirk, veterinary research officer and a New Zealand authority on mastitis, and Mr M. G. Hollard, a senior lecturer in the animal science department at the college and supervisor of the college’s town-milk supply dairy farm.
