ADDITION TO HOTEL SITE
Appeal Board Approves Baliins Hotels, Ltd., is permitted to add 1 rood 9 perches to a section at the corner of Cuffs and Pages roads, the site for a licensed hotel and motels, under a reserved decision given by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board. The decision allows departure from the City Council’s residential A zoning, but says that this is subject to a 40ft street being formed to the satisfaction of the council, and the company must see that no annoyance, nuisance or disturbance is caused to adjoining residents, particularly in the evenings. The board gives Linwood Bakery’, Ltd., permission to extend at 42 and 46 Battersea street, with provision for off-street loading. Stacey and Hawker, Ltd., may add to its office block, but it must be set back from Essex and Raglan streets, and the frontages maintained as garden.
H. A. and J. F. Simpson are allowed to extend a baby wear and sporting softgoods factory provided the frontage is set back 15ft from Jubilee street.
