Milk Factories New Award
iN.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 20. Wage increases ranging from 6s 8d to Us 9d a week are provided for, retrospectively to May 1, in an award released today by the Arbitration Court for workers in milk pasteurising and bottling factories.
A foreman in charge of a shift of 31 or more workers ■will receive £l7 2s lid weeklv and wages for juniors range from £7 9s lOd to £ll 6s Bd. Drivers’ wages range from £l5 12s 6d to £l7 10s according to the weight of the vehicle.
