MAN SHOT DEAD

Youth Charged With Murder (N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, June 20. A man was shot dead at Turihau station, 10 miles from Gisborne in the early hours on Saturday morning and as a result a 20-year-old shearer. was charged with murder when he appeared before Mr D. M. Dennis and Mr A. L. Campbell, J.P.s. He is Wylie Taylor, aged 20, a shearer. He was remanded until July 6. The man killed was John Ranapia, also known as Johnny Isaac, aged 27, also a shearer.
