Bus Service
Sir.—As a visitor from Auckland I would like to give recognition to the “powers that be” for the convenient and efficient bus service in Christchurch. After the dreadful transport system in Auckland, it is an absolute treat to know exactly from where the buses leave, and to know that ultimately one arrives back in the Square or some small distance from it. In Auckland, such is uie mixup, leaving from all sorts of odd places and finishing the routes away from convenient sites, a person is hard put to it to find which bus leaves from where. Christchurch is a wonderful place to get in and out of.—Yours, etc..
GRATEFUL AUCKLANDFR. June 17, 1965.
