FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—A large anti-cyclone centred in the western Tasman Sea is moving slowly eastwards and a ridge of high pressure extends from it on to southern New Zealand. Forecast: All districts.—Light to moderate variable winds; fine and cool, with widespread frosts tonight. Outlook: becoming cloudy in Buller and Westland; elsewhere fine.
