Sir, —I was shocked by the personal abuse hurled by a Government spokesman at a speaker in “Poi»it of View” tonight. Can our Government do no better than hurl slander at a person rather than answer argument merely by argument? It was a thoroughly sickening performance —Yours, etc., CIVIL LIBERTIES. June 6, 1965.
