A.S.C. IN DIFFERENT ROLE.—An anti-aircraft crew of the New Zealand Army Service Corps in training at Trentham in 1929. The first of the officers on the right is Captain S. H. Crump, of Army Headquarters, who later became a brigadier and commanded the Army Service Corps in the Middle East and Italy. He will be the guest of honour at the A.S.C. reunion this week-end. The second officer is Major-General “Bobby” Young, General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Army at the time and a former officer of the 1st Canterbury Regiment.
