Mammoth Kiwi Plans
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 4. The approximate date for continuous sales of the Mammoth Kiwi lottery tickets to begin will probably be decided by the end of next week, said the organiser, Mr Neil McArthur, today.
“We have employed extra staff and enlarged our ac-
commodation.” he said, “and I we are printing and checking) by hand enough tickets for! Mammoth Kiwis Nos. five to) eight. We are preparing that ) far in advance.” Mr McArthur has called a) conference in Wellington next Friday to brief his district agents on the reorganisation and preparation for both the Mammoth Kiwi and the 5s Golden Kiwi lotteries. “Circulars are being sent to the 2400 agents retailing the Golden Kiwi tickets throughout New Zealand,” he said.
“These agents will receive more precise information regarding the launching of the Mammoth Kiwis after next Friday’s conference.” Mr McArthur said that even when continuous sales were launched there would be a trial while further adjustments were made to have the two lotteries running together smoothly.
