(N.Z. Press Association’ WELLINGTON, June 4. Learning Russian was becoming increasingly popular and Europe alone had 600 schools catering for it, said Mr D. J. Hunns, a newly appointed lecturer in Russian at the University of Auckland, on his arrival yesterday. Mr Hunna, who was accompanied by his wife and daughter, has travelled extensively in Russia and Germany. A former executive in 1.C.1. he holds a language degree. specialising in both Russian and German. He also speaks French fluently.
