AN EAGLE FOR A PET.—Mr Stephen May, an Australian artist, feeding Spartacus, his pet wedgetail eagle, at his home at Warrandyte, Victoria. Another family pet, a labrador named Mason, looks on. Mr May found the eagle, which is now nine months old, in a nest while he was working on a sheep station in central New South Wales last year. He took the bird to his home and watched it grow. Mr May and his wife are training Spartacus to hunt.
