N.Z. Shares Easing As Trading Closes
New Zealand shares were easing at the close of the week’s trading with falls well ahead of rises and key stocks leading the trend. Overseas issues were firm.
Among New Zealand stocks a rise of 3s 9d to 25s by Mason Brothers, on higher profit news, was a feature, while George Court added 6d to 225, N.Z. Farmers 2d to 9s lid and British Office Supplies Is to 41s. A.N.Z. Bank added 2s to 50s, National Mortgage 3d to 12s 6d and Mount Isa 3d to 345.
