Ambulances Busy
Ambulances of the Christchurch sub-centre of the St. John Ambulance Association carried 2304 patients 12,585 miles during May—3s7 more patients and 2185 more miles than in May last year. Last month ambulances attended 69 motor vehicle accidents, from which they carried 88 persons to hospital; they also attended 60 other accidents.
