N.Z. Coach Invited
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 3. New Zealand is one of five nations invited by the International Amateur Athletic Federation to select a coach for ser [vice in countries backward in I athletics. The other countries Invited are the United States-. Russia. Britain and Germany. Mr J C. Bellwood, of Auck and. who has been chosen by the New Zealand coaches’ association, has been told that he may be sent overseas at Christmas or in the ’ate summer. Mr Bellwood has lectured at the national coaching schoo-l for 15 years. He said today the period overseas would last for six or seven weeks. Travelling expenses would be borne by the I.A.A.F.
