H.C. SLEIGH MOVE

Hong Kong Merger (N.Z Press Assn —Copyright) SYDNEY, June 2. Australian oil and shipping group, H. C. Sleigh is merging its shipping activities with those of Jardine, Matheson and Company of Hong Kong, directors have announced. The Sleigh subsidiary, Dominion Navigation Company, and the Matheson subsidiary, Indo-China Steam Navigation Company, operate complementary services. Both maintain cargo and passenger lines between Australia, Japan, China, the Philippines, Hong Kong and other eastern ports. Both will pool their resources with the object of improving the services of both companies. They will operate a combined service under the name of Dominion Far East Line from July.
