Ltd., essences and chemicals manufacturer, lifted net profit Jafter tax to £114.669 in the | year to December last, compared with £111,062 in 1963. The chairman (Mr J. A. D. iPaul) said the position achieved in recent years had been well maintained and consolidated. Trading Volume Trading volume, as distinct from profits, in the first four months of the current year, had been satisfactory. But, Mr Paul added, price adjustments to absorb increasing costs could be imminent. As in the previous year, a dividend was not declared, the profits being retained in Australia to provide capital. Fixed assets . increased by £15,307 to £620,211; current assets by £100,002 to £906,802 and current liabilities by £6948 to £423,798, including £158,139 owing to the parent company in Britain.
