Donations amounting to £64,385 were announced today by the Auckland Savings Bank from an appropriation of £lOO,OOO this year. The amount in five years is £350,000. The allocations include about £12,000 for educational purposes. £9OOO to assist in the advancement of medicine, hospitals and nursing. £9OOO towards comforts and

housing for the aged. £BOOO for social welfare work. £6500 for health camps and other youth activities. £5OOO to assist the physically and mentally handicapped.
