Fijians Go To Dentist

(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter— Copyright)

SUVA, Fiji.

Children in remote villages on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu have travelled on foot, by punt and even by bamboo raft to visit the dentist, according to Mr D. EUerton. chief dental officer in the Government Medical Department.

Mobile dental clinics on the island travel wherever there is a road to treat school children free of charge. In areas where there are no roads, many children have travelled specially to the road head to attend the clinic.
