Pigeon Flying
The outstanding exhibitor at the Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club's weekly show was W. Whiteside, who took all three prizes in the most likely flyer class. Results were:
100 mile young hen (judge Mr D. McMillan. 30 entries): V. Main 1, J. Turner 2. V. Main 3. M.L.F young hen (judge Mr C. Minty, 45 entries): W. Whiteside 1. W. Whiteside 2. W. Whiteside 3.
