Annual Review
(N.Z. Press Association> WELLINGTON, May 24. The managing director of the Shaw Savill Line (Mr J. A. MacConochie) will arrive in New Zealand on Thursday to attend the freight talks between the Conference Lines and producer boards which open at Wellington on May 31. Other shipping company representatives will be Mr R. H. Senior (Port Line), Mr C. A. W. Dawes (New Zealand Shipping Company), Mr W. T. Rae (Blue Star Line) and Mr A. C. Mackay, the secretary of the lines. The talks will be mainly on the annual review of freight rates and contracts by the combined companies, but the progress of streamlining will also be discussed with Government representatives and the chairmen of the producer boards.
