Mr L. Beaton, the newlyappointed editor of the Commonwealth magazine “Round Table,” will arrive in Auckland on June 9 for a short visit to New Zealand.—(P.A.) Mr B. M. Stanton, engineer to the Christchurch Transport Board, was bidden farewell by the board at its meeting yesterday. Mr Stanton ha; been appointed engineer to the Auckland Regional Authority. The Rev. B. R. Carrell, vicar of Hororata since 1960. has been appointed vicar of St. Matthews, Dunedin. He will take up his post in August.
