Burton Plans Retirement

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, May 9. Richard Burton says he plans to retire from film acting after another three years. In an interview published in London, Burton said: “It’s a great life—but I’m giving it up. rm committed to contracts for three years and then I’ll retire. “Forty-two is a good age to retire. I’d hate to be one of those aged stars playing love scenes with young girls.” Burton is in London completing his latest film “The Spy Who Came In From The Cold.”
