Return To Congo

C.V.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 10. The Auckland missionaries, Misses Marjdrie Cheverton and Patricia Holdaway, want to return to the Congo, but they would not be allowed to go until at least next year, the Rev. Ivor Davies said yesterday. Mr Davies is New Zealand secretary of the world-wide Evangelisation Crusade on whose mission they were engaged in the Congo when they were evacuated last year. A British couple had returned to Leopoldville and were - awaiting a chance to get back into the mission stations, he said. Other overseas missionaries were hoping to go back by the end of the year.
