MISS Patricia Rianne and Terence James, two leading dancers in the New Zealand Ballet, were married in Palmerston North this week. Both have contracts with the Marseilles Opera Ballet, and will leave for France soon. TIMARU will be the venue for the next Christchurch diocesan conference of the Catholic Womens’ League. PUPILS of Heaton Intermediate School recently raised £216 for the Save the Children Fund, by their own efforts. They held copper trails, stalls, did special jobs in the week-ends to contribute to the appeal. In the past they have sponsored four Korean children. Now they will be able to increase the number to six.
