Gift For Boy From Tibet (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 7. An anonymous £l5O in £5 notes has been sent to the 12-year-old Tibetan boy, Tsering Topygal, who is recuperating from a heart operation in Green Lane Hospital. A letter with the money was sent to the medical superintendent of the hospital (Dr. J. L. Newman) asking that it go towards Tsering’s expenses, which are being paid by the Save the Children Fund.
Tsering’s progress continues to be reported as “just fine.”
