British Squash Champion To Play In Christchurch
rpHF British amateur chamX pion, Aftab Jawaid, is to play in Christchurch on Thursday, May 27. As yet arrangements for the visit have not been it is hoped to match Ja * a ‘ d against New Zealand s champion. C. R. Waugh. Jawaid arrived in Auckland on Thursday- During the next three weeks he will play exhibition games. at North Island clubs and in
tournaments at Auckland, New Plymouth and Lower Hutt He will spend a week in the South Island, and play in a tournament at Nelson on May 29 and 30. Following this. Jawaid returns to the North Island for a another fortnight’s exhibition and two more tournaments—at Palmerston North and Hamilton. His tour ends on Tuesday, June 15.
