Carter, aged 15. from Queensland, could have passed for 12. When he stepped on the scales for the weigh-in. the marker did not even flicker. The scales do not register less than 5 stone, and Carter, who is 4ft lin tall, weighs only 4st 121 b. He was given a 61b weight to hold and the needle flickered to sst 41b, so Carter had to carry an extra 2 stone. His mount was unplaced.
