Notice To Drivers Of Fire Engines

The union’s secretary (Mr G. G. Walker) said that the executive had pointed out to the driver that though they were exempted from the speed limit while answering fire calls, the Transport Act did not absolve them from negligence or from taking as much care as was demanded from private drivers.
