CAUGHT BY WEATHER

Deerstalkers In Fiordland (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, April 30. Four deerstalking parties due out from Fiordland at the beginning of the week are waiting for the weather to clear so they can be flown out. Captain lan Ritchie, of Ritchie Air Services, Te Anau, said today that the parties had a good food supply. He considered they would be able to stay in the area for another week if necessary. The parties were at Lake Mike (southern Fiordland), Caswell Sound and Lake Shirley. Snow had been down to between 3000 and 4000 ft, but the parties had their camps below that level. The weather at Te Anau appeared to be clearing today. Captain Ritchie said he might be able to get in tomorrow.
