(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, April 29 The Royal Navy today took a quarter-page advertisement in the “Board of Trade Journal” inviting offers for the 15,000-ton aircraft carrier Magnificent.
The Magnificent, 694 feet long, was completed in 1948 and immediately lent to the Royal Canadian Navy. She was returned to Britain in 1957.
