Police Seek Witness
The police are anxious to get in touch with a motorist who could help their inquiries into the theft of £l7 10s from the Domett Service Station, five miles south of Cheviot, on Easter Monday. The owner of the service station was serving the motorist at 1.40 p.m. when a person from another car went into the office. The money was taken from a cash-box inside the door of the office. The motorist who was being served saw what happened, but the proprietor forgot to obtain his name-
The police ask the motorist to get in touch with the Christchurch C. 1.8. at the Central Police Station.
