MINOR FIRES

Fat igniting on an electric stove caused a small fire in the kitchen wall at the home of Mr F. Anderson, 203 Marine parade, on Tuesday evening. New Brighton and Headquarters station firemen answered the alarm at 5.29 p.m.

A rubbish fire on the property of Mr Ullrich, 1 Aynsley terrace, was put out by Sydenham firemen at 6.42 p;m. An oven fire in a house occupied by Mr W. Hayes, 122 McBratneys road, was attended by Headquarters firemen at 7.17 pan. A chimney fire, at 7.33 p.m, in the home of Mr R. Greenaway, 348 Manchester street, was attended to by Headquarters firemen.
