STUDY OF MIDGES
Board Asked To Help The Christchurch Drainage Board has been asked to contribute towards the cost of research on the midge problem at the Auckland sewage treament plant. The treatment works committee reported to the board last evening that the board’s contribution invited for the current year was £l3OO. While agreeing in principle to a contribution, the board deferred consideration of the request until its May meeting. In the meantime members will be given a copy of the report of the commission of inanity into the Auckland problem.
