TRADE FAIR IN SYDNEY
N.Z. Not Taking Part (N Z. Press Assn. — Copyright) SYDNEY, April 27. About 20 overseas countries are to be represented at this year’s Sydney Trade Fair, some of them by Governmentsponsored exhibits. New Zealand will not be officially represented. however. New Zealand’s senior trade commissioner in Australia. Mr E J. Sutch. said in Sydney today it had been decided some time ago that New Zealand would not be taking part, on a Government level in any case. It was still open for New Zealand manufacturers to exhibit he said. The fair is being sponsored by the Sydney Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Manufacturers of New South Wales, and the Retail Traders' Association of New South Wales. When the fair was last held, two years ago, the New Zealand Government was officcially represented.
Business Take-Over.—lndo-nesian Government officials today took over control of the Australian pharmaceutical firm of Nicholas Pty. Ltd.— (Djakarta, April 27.)
