The mission would provisionally visit Suva, Pago Pago, Apia, Lautoka and return to Auckland via Nandi. Private trips were also available to! the French possessions of i Noumea or Tahiti. There was j also an optional side-trip to I Tonga. Mr E. P. Chapman said the membership was limited to 20 selling members and six servicing members. A committee had been set up by the federation to plan preparatory work. The itinerary would be decided at the committee's next meeting on Thursday. Invitations would be sent out to manufacturers to participate and the question of Government assistance would be clarified.

The trade mission, he said, was expected to return to Auckland on September 1.
