AUCKLAND. April 23,
A £250,000 country club on three acres of land at Remuera is planned by the Auckland Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen’s Association.
Permission to develop the land—part chicken farm and part Auckland City Council land—is being sought from the council’s town-planning committee.
The association has cancelled a scheme to build a club in a 12-storey building in upper Queen street.
