Motor-cyclist Loses Leg
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 23.
A 19-year-old motor-cyclist, Roger Michael Liddell, of Waimauku, had a leg amputated after his machine collided with a car in Mount Eden road last night. He was admitted to Auckland Hospital. His condition today is satisfactory.
Garage Burgled.— The Cross Roads Garage and Service Station, 189 Riccarton road, was burgled on Thursday night, and four tyres and cigarettes and chocolates were stolen.
