Mr L A. Benediktov, the Russian delegate to the . E.C.A.F.E. conference left Wellington tonight full of praise for the treatment he received at the Calvary Hospital. Wellington. “I am deeply grateful to the New Zealand Gov-
eminent and Hie hospital for the wonderful way in which I was looked after,” said Mr Benediktov. He was discharged today from the Calvary Hospital and left for Syd>4 - .
ney at 7.30 p.m. on the
first leg of his jonrney to Moscow. Professor R. A. Tkachev, professor of neurology, who come from Moscow to treat Mr Benediktov said the treatment he had received here was similar to that he would have received in Moscow.
Professor Tkachev and Mrs Benediktov, who were flown out to New Zealand by the Russian Government after Mr Benediktov’s collapse, are to accompany him back to Moscow.
