N.Z. Invest. Net Profit Rises
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 12. New Zealand Investment Mortgage and Deposit Company made a net profit for the year to March 31 of £6633, against £6092 last year. This was after allowing £5554 (£5013 last year) for taxation. Dividends totalling an unchanged 9 per cent will take a steady £4792. A steady £lOOO will be transferred to reserve and £5783 (£4942) carried forward. Paid capital remains at £53,250 and total shareholders’ funds are £77,283 (£75,442). Shareholders have before them a take-over offer from the Victoria Insurance Company to purchase for 25s each all the 71,000 shares paid to 15s.
