GV 7 Press Association) AUCKLAND. April 12. Bongo drums and stuffed toy camels were thrown overboard by some passengers as the liner Oriana came into Auckland this morning People apparently abandoned their Port Said purchases because they thought they were not allowed to bring them into New Zealand, said a ship's officer.
But Department of Agriculture officers said the items were allowed in if they passed examination.
