Little Olympics In Los Angeles (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 12. Nothing has been heard from the United States regarding the proposed athletic meeting in Julv. the secretarv of the N.Z.A.A.A.. Mr C. i. W. Archibald, said today. The secretary of the Amateur Athletic Union of Australia. Mr A. J. Hodsdon, was i handling arrangements. ! New Zealand and Australia ‘were invited to send a team ■of 40 athletes to a “Little ; Olympics” in Los Angeles on July 17 and 18. Britain and: Poland have already accepted. ‘ The sponsor, the “Los Angeles Times.” was to put up 25,000 dollars, but it was estimated this would not quite cover the cost of the tour. “Either America puts up the ' additional amount or we will have to send a smaller team,” said Mr Archibald.
