(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER April 12. A young boy was rescued from an uncovered drain this afternoon after being trapped up to his neck in water for 10 minutesMrs A. R. Thomas, of Onekawa, a Napier suburb, rescued Mark Corlett. aged 3, from the drain after her three-year-pld son. Russell, told her of his friend’s plight She saved the boy who was clinging to weeds in three feet of water, but had to dig holes in the side, of the smooth clay bank to get out.
