Banks Peninsula Farming
Sir, —It is time someone took pen in defence of the standard of farming on Banks Peninsula. Wool production since the war has increased considerably. In some cases it has more than doubled. Farms which once produced only store cattle now fatten all animals and buy in more. This increase in production is not shown in the stock figures taken from statistics and submitted to the public. —Yours, etc.. - T. E. ARMSTRONG. Akaroa, April 10, 1965.
