From Cast-Offs To Good Books
During the last four years the Red Cross library had grown from a few hundred cast-off books to a collection of 4100 good books. These were taken to 390 readers by 40 drivers. This was reported by Miss M. A. Woods, chairman of the Red'Cross library at the annual meeting. Officers elected were:— Chairman, Miss M. A. Woods; secretary, Miss M. E. Rowe; treasurer, Miss M. A. Woods; committee, Mesdames D. J. Wales and A. Hitchcods, and Misses D. Cross and G. Watt.
