Caravan Club

Twenty-three vans with 75 children and adults attended the Christchurch Caravan Club’s recent rally in Ashley Gorge. Members were entertained by the band of the 2nd Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, which was playing to troops exercising in the area. Several cars in the convoy visited Lees Valley in the afternoon and in the evening a bonfire and barbecue were held. A special feature of the rally was the jet boat rides through the gorge.
