WELLINGTON, April 1. Clyde Engineering, Lower Hutt importers and distributors of heavy machinery, has acquired the whole share capital of Atlas Steels (N.Z.), Ltd., it was announced today.
Atlas Steels has been managed and controlled by Clyde for some years and the merger took place last August. Its results will be reflected in Clyde’s balance sheet in the year to March 31. Clyde paid for its purchase partly in cash and partly in fully paid shares.
