Man Found Bullet
The police are anxious to interview a man who walked into the Christchurch Central Police Station about 7 a.m. last Friday (March 26) and handed in a .243 calibre rifle round at the public inquiry counter.
The man said he had found the round near the University of Canterbury buildings in Worcester street, and walked out of the police station. The Chief Detective (Mr S. B. McEwan) said yesterday he would appreciate it if the finder got in touch with him or Detective-Sergeant A. E. V. Yaxley as soon as possible.
