Fluoridation In Wellington

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 31. Fluoride will be added to Wellington’s water-mains at Kaitoke and Wainuiomata tomorrow afternoon and the treated water will reach city taps early on Friday. Wellington will join Lower Hutt, Hastings, Invercargill, Palmerston North, Taumarunui, Tauranga and Ngaruawahia in having fluoridated water.

The Wellington scheme does not include Petone, the eastern harbour bays or towns from Pdkerua Bay northwards.
